Hawaii Pacific Entertainment is producing Jasmine's gala event, that includes the best house DJ's in the VIP room who will be hosting games and trivia to engage the partygoers throughout the club. Then, at the stroke of midnight, the birthday girl herself will give a pink champagne toast from the VIP room, to be heard and seen by everyone at the party!

"We want to make this the most memorable birthday celebration for Jasmine and all her family, friends and fans in Hawaii," said Lincoln Jacobe, founder and CEO of Hawaii Pacific Entertainment. As part of the entertainment, four female models and four male models will strut their stuff on the catwalk in a fashion show celebrating the recent grand opening of the Blue Buddha on Kapiolani Boulevard. Owner Budi Staven brings in hard-to-find designers not yet available in Honolulu and offers one-of-a-kind pieces that are stylish, and trendy.

Jasmine Trias has made the jump from singer to entertainer, thanks to the SOS' Tony Ruivivar
Jasmine Trias is returning to Hawaii this weekend for two shows as a special guest of the Society of Seven. Hawaii's best known "American Idol" finalist will be doing almost everything the SOS guys do -- singing, dancing and impressions.

Trias gives SOS leader Tony Ruivivar full credit for her metamorphosis from singer to entertainer.

" Tony has been such a mentor to me. He is amazing," Trias said. "He has really stretched me as a performer (and) stretched my potential. It was a challenge for me to believe in myself, but he showed me that I could do it. He inspired me to dream big."

WHAT'S NEW WITH SOCIETY OF SEVEN? PLENTY
Jasmine Trias joins the Society of Seven with Lani Misalucha, in two shows this weekend.
Trias was approached by Tony Ruivivar to spell Misalucha when the latter had commitments to promote a new solo album in the Philippines.

"It was like this new career dropped out of the sky," said Trias, 20. "I've wanted to perform like her one day. I've often imagined how it would be, performing with the SOS."

Despite initial fears and spells of intimidation, she's doing just that.

He mapped out an "American Idol" medley, impressions and "big, belting numbers" such as Broadway show tunes "I'll Give My Life for You" (from "Miss Saigon") and "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" (from "Dreamgirls") as well as emotional pop pieces such as "I Know I'll Never Love This Way Again."

'IDOL' FACTOR: RISING FINALIST TAKES STAR QUALITY TO VALLEJO Never in Jasmine Trias' wildest imagination did she think she would get paid for impersonating Britney Spears, Janet Jackson and BeyoncŽ. But that's the clout one gets for finishing No. 3 in "American Idol." Sure, winning the 2004 version of the undeniably popular TV show would have been nice. But the 20-year-old multitalented Trias isn't complaining.
As the first Filipino-American to place so high on "Idol," Trias has already done commercials, TV shows, and the recent three-month stint on the Las Vegas strip.
When she first got off the plane in the Philippines after her "American Idol" success, "it was like Michael Jackson arriving," said a stunned Trias. "I couldn't believe it. I was swarmed with media and there was security everywhere. A celebrity was coming out of the plane and I didn't think it was me."
Because "Idol" keeps its contestants isolated from interviews until the program is aired, "I didn't have any idea what kind of exposure we had outside of the show," Trias had.

Trias was an "American Idol" contestant with Jennifer Hudson, who just won an Oscar for "Dreamgirls." Trias steps up (in her own persona) to belt out Hudson's big song, "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going." But she also puts on a partial costume to imitate Beyonce, who stars with Hudson in "Dreamgirls," as well as Diana Ross, whom Beyonce's "Dreamgirls" character is famously based on.

Besides, her personality is irresistible and the effortless power of her 20-year-old voice is thrilling. If ever another show could be so well-suited -- or if Misalucha decides to tour more often -- Trias has a welcome future on the Strip.

JASMINE PERFORMED AT THE PRO BOWL BLOCK PARTY IN WAIKIKI
Last night (February 9, 2007) on the Pro Bowl All-Star Sports Show Stage at the Pro Bowl All-Star Block Party In Waikiki, Jasmine Trias peformed infront of a huge crowd with 3 songs.

She sang "DJ Don't Quit", "All I Need" and her signature song on American Idol, "Inseparable". She'll be singing the National Anthem today at the Pro Bowl. So watch for it. On Sunday, she is heading back to Las Vegas to prepare for her gig with the Society Of Seven at the Flamingo Hotel.
