The Tropics Showroom at Hilton Hawaiian Village features a monthly concert series program to showcase Hawaii's top musical talents. In partnership with KUMU radio, "An Evening at the Tropics", is held monthly.
In the final “An Evening at the Tropics” concert of 2005, the Hilton Hawaiian Village presents a powerful lineup of Na Kama, Danny Couch and Jasmine Trias. The concert takes place on Thursday, December 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the hotel's Tropics Showroom. They are free and opened to the public. Past performers included Sean Na'auao, Melveen Leed, Jay Larrin and Jerry Santos.

The Honolulu Centennial Gala Celebration will be held to honor 100 of the City and County of Honolulu's most influential citizens over the past 100 years. The event will take place on Thursday, November 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Waikiki Ballroom in the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel & Resort.
Event-goers will enjoy a beautiful cocktail reception while listening to the melodies of the Royal Hawaiian Band and Nina Keli'iwahamana. As the dinner festivities begin, guests will be in for a special treat as the Society of Seven Las Vegas and Jasmine Trias hit center stage for their debut performance together. Also performing will be Azure McCall and Trio, The Drifters and headlining the evening's entertainment will be the multi-talented Willy K. The event will also feature a special four-course menu prepared by several of Hawai'i's favorite celebrity chefs including: Russell Siu; Alan Wong; Roy Yamaguchi and Dwight Yoshioka.

Tables and individual seats are currently on sale, tables for 10 starts at $3,000. Individual seats are also available for $300. All money raised will help reestablish City Hall to its original beauty.

Live Broadcast from Hawaii to promote HVCB's (Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau) $1.3 Million Marketing Promotion. At Midnite (Hawaii time) she will appear (via satellite from Hawaii) on various talk shows and/or major networks, starting from the East Coast and work her way to the West Coast. She will be promoting Hawaii and doing interviews individually with each talk show and/or network host. The broadcast will end around 4 a.m. (Hawaii Time) in the West Coast. Look for her on TV. Honolulu Advertiser (Aug.3) - HVCB also has tapped former "American Idol" finalist Jasmine Trias to talk about Hawai'i activities and HVCB's dream vacation feature during live interviews Aug. 26 with magazine-style TV programs and morning news shows in Mainland travel markets. The interviews, conducted via satellite, will feature Trias at an "only in Hawai'i" setting as well as footage of outdoor activities visitors can enjoy here. HVCB is not paying Trias, who is free to talk about her new solo CD during the interviews, said Darlene Morikawa, HVCB's public relations and communications manager.
